TRANDES is very experienced at providing depot level repair of electronic equipment. We have performed as the prime contractor at both of the Navy' s Electronics Depot; first at SSC SD' s Taylor Street Depot and SSC-C Norfolk Electronic Maintenance Center (EMC). Efforts performed:

Norfolk EMC TRANDES operated the Navy SSC-C Norfolk Electronic Maintenance Center (EMC) depot in Norfolk, VA supporting the Fleet, FMS, and NAVICP. The production facility was a Government owned, contractor operated facility. Trandes developed the production facility and installation processes in accordance with ISO-9002 compliant QA plans and procedures. Trandes established, maintained and operated an Electrostatic Discharge free (ESD) laboratory to perform analysis of system and circuit symmetry when OEM details were not available. Our ISO 9000 compliant procedures were supplied to SSCC Code 625 as inputs to their pursuit of ISO 9000 Registration of their ESF production facility. Trandes was not active in this registration. Our support was limited to providing fully compliant ISO 9002 Plans and Procedures to assist in shorting the timeline to Registration.
NISE WEST Trandes operated the SSC SD (NISE West) Taylor Street Production Facility through three (3) levels of Quality Assurance Plans and Procedures. TRANDES demonstrated at the Taylor Street depot a quality performance level well over the 96 percent minimal acceptance requirement (98.99% average over the last 4 years) of formal government inspection conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-2110 specifications. In the final year of the contract Trandes assisted SSC SD Code 65 in preparing for and obtaining registration of the facility under ISO 9000.
